We have 1 litter on the ground that was born June 16, 2010. Cocoa the male is a liver roan junior hunter that is also working on his show conformation championship. He is also a guide dog at a game farm in central Wisconsin. His registered name is Hillhaven Chocolate Odyssey his pedigree goes back to Hillhaven Hustler who is renowned for producing dual-champion offspring. The female is Serenity of Wolf Lake(Sarah) who is a titled junior hunter and is the lead grouse and woodcock guide dog for our kennel. Her pedigree goes back to 5X National Champion Rawhide's Clown and her sire is Field Champion Windwalkers Chase. This is Sarah's third and last litter, all of her previous litters have been outstanding...she has many puppies with titles and we have a female from her last littler that competed on the American Field Grouse Coverdog circuit who placed 2nd and 3rd in classes with no other Shorthairs and the judges always commented that she was the "best-running Shorthair they had ever seen." Male puppies are $600 and we require a $100 non-refundable deposit. All of our puppies come with a 2 year health and hip guarantee. We also offer training assistance to all of our puppies if the owner requires it.

I would just like to thank you Mike and Jenny for all of your time and information in the puppy buying process. Mike was always there when I called and needed to talk to him about the pups. He took me pheasant hunting many times so I could see how Sarah hunted and a couple times just to get out. Overall I would recommend Gryphon Shorthairs to anyone who would like a great puppy buying experience.

We can truly say that Mike is an honest guy. I spoke with Mike for awhile via phone and he is honest and up front and his concern is that you get what you are looking for and need. I have asked him questions in the past that some trainers would not answer; he had no problem answering them. I really respect Mike and his values. We do own one of Mikea's dogs and we are very happy with him. Mike worked wonderfully with Dusty teaching him to hold a point and whoa. Mike was honest and definitely did everything he said he would do. I would recommend Mike and his dogs to anyone looking for a bird hunting dog and a family dog as well. Thank you Mike and Jenny!

Our Anastasia's call name is Ani. We couldn't be happier with her overall ability to be not only a good house dog but also the most extraordinary instincts ever. Her nose doesn't ever stop and her staunch pointing ability and natural instinct for whoaing are remarkable. We have so much fun watching her whoa on her friends the butterflies but also her house mate our Pomerian, Kerrie. Keep up the good work Gryphon. Thanks for the most wonderful experience.

My Belle was brought home from pheasant fest in St.Paul almost 3 years ago. It's amazing to watch the floppy puppy I brought home grow into a handsome dog. Her & my son have bonded like crazy, & every year she becomes a better hunting dog. Her points are a wonder to behold. And each new season she gains more confidence, & ability.
